- Assist the Athlete Affairs Manager (Personal Development) in planning, developing and overseeing the administration and operation of the HKSI athlete day rest room.
- Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for ad hoc counselling cases; prepare case reports.
- Conduct individual or group consultation with athletes, their parents and coaches; provide supporting services in personal development guidance, career planning, value education and other learning experiences opportunities for HKSI scholarship athletes.
- Supervise a team of wardens and coordinate with other supporting departments to deliver hostel lifestyle activities and care programme especially for the young athletes.
- Liaise with various key stakeholders such as coaches and National Sports Associations, to facilitate or conduct professional lifestyle training and personal-social development programme.
- Provide support to athletes' profile and data management facilitating the development of systematic athletes portfolio and record management.
- Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.
- A university degree in Social Work Studies/ Education or related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years' working experience in social work/hostel/student services or related field; with experience of working within a high-performance multidisciplinary team and supporting the personal development of individuals through coaching/mentoring preferable.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, able to speak Putonghua will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as organization skills.
- Self-motivated, a good team player under a multi-functional team, sensitive to career
- development; able to work at irregular hours when necessary.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.
