PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc., you will work at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC) which is under PMAL. As a Senior Manager of Strategic Planning, you will be accountable for coordinating the Electronics Device Supply Planning process and ensuring the implementation of process standards and efficient management of Finished Goods Inventory. This includes aligning with defined planning cycles, meeting financial targets (cash, cost), service levels, and continuously improving processes to accommodate increased complexity and scalability.Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to foster a productive and efficient business environment:
o Collaborate with Market Planning, Supply Chain Category Planning team, Business Planning, Long Range Planning Operations Category Planning to identify business opportunities & build scenarios on shipment plans, define inventory norms and manage LOGD.
o Support Finance in monthly/quarterly consolidation, Balance sheet forecast processes as well as LOMD/LOGD assessment.
o Provide systematic volume input to Procurement and Electronics Planning teams for sourcing, capacity planning, and materials planning activities.
  • Act as the primary communication liaison within the Supply Chain and with stakeholders. Ensure consistent and clear communication across all functions, including program deployment and day-to-day activities. Deliver data-driven communication to all parties to avoid misalignment and ambiguity.
  • Lead the preparation and coordinate approval of the monthly mid-term shipment plan, taking into account various factors such as demand changes, potential launch plans, supply/demand risks, financial/business targets, portfolio mix changes, and LOMD mitigation plans.
  • Identify and assess risks in the supply chain, developing scenarios to mitigate potential issues related to inventory and cost (logistics, LOMD, LOGD). Propose supply allocations across markets and regional packing hubs to resolve existing risks.
  • Ensure supply planning processes are aligned with global standards, leverage consumer electronics experience and external sources to establish best-in-class planning practices. Develop proposals for process improvements as necessary.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a team of professionals (direct and indirect) to improve their capabilities, process knowledge, and business proficiency. Support their growth in delivering clear and effective messages, including articulating clear requests, conducting fact-based analysis, and understanding communication levels across functions and external relevant parties.
Who we're looking for
  • 8+ years proven experience in either a Senior Supply Chain Planning role or Consultancy with a Supply Chain background, preferably in the electronics industry and in a global centralized business model.
  • Good understanding of fundamentals in demand and fulfillment planning processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of being a team contributor and effective communicator who connects well with direct reports, peers and other key involved party at all levels of organization.
  • Ability to translate planning outcomes into a valuable business insights, effectively highlighting priorities, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders while understanding the financial and operational implications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
