Our commitment to the long-term development of our business and our markets is articulated in our purpose: "To Connect, Promote and Progress our Markets and the Communities they support for the prosperity of all."Job Summary: The Information Technology Division is responsible for the design, implementation, and operations of HKEX market systems and IT infrastructure.Job Duties:The incumbent will work in the area of Development & Support for HKEX post trade application systems, and lead a team responsible for the related architecture design, development, implementation and production support, as well as work across related business and operations stakeholders achieving common business results.Responsibilities:Lead and manage all phases of application road map, architecture design and life cycle for post-trade application systems, and carry out review of associated deliverables and evolution in adherence to standards and policiesSet, interpret and drive strategic direction, and deliver technology that meets post trade business requirementsPlan, review and implement system development and technical delivery through requirement definition with key business stakeholders, collaboration with other application teams and infrastructure team on common system and architecture impact, as well as exercise vendor management where appropriateOversee production support for core mission critical systems to attain robust system availabilityFoster continuous technology advancement and development of the department, as well as lead people management agenda including performance management and developmentUndertake assignments and projects as assigned by department headRequirements:Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplinesAt least over 15 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 10 years at management levelStrong leadership skills and capabilities in managing complex IT agenda across diverse stakeholders from senior IT leaders, specialist, to business and operations leadersAbility to define solutions that solve complex business problemsSolid experience in managing and developing large scale mission critical systems on open platformKnowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practicesKnowledge and experience in On-exchange cash and derivatives domain; or Post-Trade domain is an added advantageKnowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are metKeen understanding of project control and budget managementStrong interpersonal, communication, managerial and people management skillsExperienced in motivating large organization and teamsHKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
