We are looking for senior IT procurement category managers to join their exciting business.Sr. Manager - ProcurementRole & Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans for IT procurement to optimize costs and ensure efficient operations in line with the company's goals.Direct and lead a team responsible for handling the procurement of indirect technology products, services, and solutions.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.Monitor and analyze procurement metrics, generate reports, and present findings to senior management for decision-making purposes.Key Skills:Proven experience in indirect purchasing, with a focus on technology procurement with exposure to Software, Hardware or Infrastructure.Strong knowledge of IT procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and contract management.Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring high performance and achievement of departmental goals.Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and its technology procurement requirements is preferred.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
