Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Financial Services Officer.Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to customers with financial difficulties through direct customer contact by telephone, face to face and email, etc
  • Arrange meetings with customers to discuss with debt restructuring proposals
  • Ensure customers are fully informed of all the pros and cons of undergoing debt restructuring
  • Where appropriate, offer and explain to the customer that Interbank Debt Relief Plan (IDRP), and Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) will help customers restructure all their outstanding debts
  • Prepare debt restructuring proposals in accordance with prevailing policies for submission to Manager for approval
  • Arrange for the customer to sign all debt restructuring documents and confirm customer’s understanding of Terms and Conditions
  • Perform internal administrative tasks to close existing accounts and open new General Restructure Facility (GRF) for the customer
  • Fully utilize the Collections Front-end Application (e-cafe), the respective banking and credit card host system for recording and reviewing account details
  • Achieve agreed productivity and performance targets
Requirements
  • Form 5 (HKCEE) or Form 6 (HKDSE) or above
  • Solid years of work experience in banking or relevant years in Collection is preferable
  • Communicate with customers confidently over the phone and face-to-face
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve targets
  • Good command of Cantonese and English, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Sound PC knowledge and skills
