About the Company:Our client is a dynamic UK trading company delivering high-quality products and services to the global clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee accounting and management reporting functions.Job Summary:The Finance Manager (Accounting & Management Reporting) will be responsible for managing the company’s financial accounting, statutory reporting, budgeting, and management reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, streamline financial processes, and provide strategic insights to support business growth. Proficiency in an ERP system , good analytical skills, and fluency in English and Chinese are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Compliance:
  • One-man-band oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing .
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS , tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, Corporation Tax, and other regulatory filings in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Management Reporting & Financial Analysis:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports , including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and KPI tracking to support business decisions.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to aid strategic planning.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
ERP & Process Improvement:
  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) to streamline financial processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial controls, reporting efficiency, and automation .
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reconciliation within the ERP system.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, procurement) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Communicate financial results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Professional Qualification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (required).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in trading, import/export, or related industries .
  • ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to liaise with international stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
