Job Purpose:
  • To support execution of marketing and promotional campaigns for the retail bank, including segments, products, services and channels
  • To help plan and executive proactive and effective PR campaigns to increase the Bank’s positive media exposure and share of voice
  • To help manage and coordinate the Bank’s branch display guidelines
  • To support and execute Group corporate activities, including events, ESG and/or CSR initiatives as necessary
  • To provide team administrative support
Job Responsibilities
  • To support development, coordination and execution of marketing communications campaigns for RBD’s products, services and channels, and overall Bank brand positioning, including helping to formulate and articulate campaign positioning and key messages, and leveraging the full breadth of marketing communications mix, including but not limited to ATL and BTL promotions, PR promotions, digital/social media marketing, POP displays, events and sponsorships, etc.
  • To liaise with agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement and production for branding and marketing campaigns
  • To plan and execute PR initiatives within budget, including but not limited to media invitation/pitching, event run-down and coordination, drafting of press releases and speeches, press kit development, production of other related materials, post-event monitoring and follow up, etc.
  • To build and expand the Bank’s media network and database, identify and leverage media coverage opportunities through proactive pitching and/or media relationships (reporters and sales) to optimise media coverage,
  • To support and coordinate execution of the Bank's social media content strategy
  • To support branch activities and branch displays
  • To support corporate and CSR activities e.g. sponsorship and volunteer work
  • To ensure compliance with the Group’s corporate ID and other marketing guidelines
  • To support/coordinate team administrative duties as necessary
Incumbent Requirements
  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in advertising/PR agencies or retail marketing; banking and financial services experience will be a strong advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • PR and copywriting skills and/or advertising and media planning skills preferred
  • Conversant in social media skills and promotions
  • Knowledge in print and collateral production
  • PC and Chinese typing skills are required
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, good attention to details, able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight schedule
