The analyst will be responsible for the front-to-end process to perform products due diligence for the HK branch. The analyst is required to identify key product features for assessment, liaise with Front Office, coordinate with CIO to align with the global framework, and work closely with HK Compliance to ensure the updated Hong Kong regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Conduct product due diligence and assign product risk ratings as per the Bank’s framework and local regulatory requirements across asset classes
  • Provide Subject-Matter-Expert inputs in defining the PDD framework
  • Define communication framework for PDD related information
  • Manage and maintain all PDD documents and own associated processes
  • Ad-hoc analysis and/or data collection per the current bank process compared with the regulatory requirements
  • Keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirement in the PDD procedure/process
  • Tasks/Projects to be assigned by CIO team from time to time
  • Assist to implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
Who you are
  • Preferable for candidates with HKIB Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) professional qualification
  • Candidate should possess at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience product due diligence is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with extensive knowledge in MS Excel and other PC applications
  • Strong proficiency in English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin and Cantonese are required
  • Possess high conduct credentials, ethics, honesty and integrity which align with the Bank’s desired culture, values and behaviours
  • Degree from a reputable University
