Head of Sourcing - (Apparel MNC)Our client is a global leading apparel retailer generating over €8 billion in Asia Pacific alone with a portfolio of brands service all genders and age groups. Actively we are seeking a Head of Sourcing - (Apparel) who has a proven track record of experience in progressive sourcing, buying, and costing background to join their growing team in Asia.Responsible for a portfolio of close to €500 million of goods, managing a team of 30+ (Sourcing Managers, Buyers, and Technicians), your role will be to drive strategic initiatives across suppliers and vendors throughout the region, ensuring transparency in the supply chain, whiles developing long term partnerships to bring sustainable growth to the topline revenue.

Ensure that order placements with suppliers including negotiating purchase prices, quality, and deliveries meet KPI's or margins and lead time deliveries.
Plan a roadmap for costing processes for upcoming years
Work on building regional production operations team
Identify business opportunities to support and influence sourcing/buying decisions
Hands on, proactive management of the day-to-day product development and production challenges and issues
Engage with mills and factory management to review areas of improvements to ensure they meet the companies code of conduct

Requirements :

Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Textiles, or similar acumen
You have at least 15+ years of relevant work experience with sourcing/buying/development from the fashion industry.
Ability to set priorities and work organized
Strong fashion sense and ability to implement new trends in the product development process across male and female categories
You have strong negotiation skills in pricing, costing, KPI's
Fluent English speaker is a must, any additional European Language would be desirable
Proven excellent leadership skills and strong management track-record
Relocation to where the role is headquartered out of is a MUST, candidates who cannot relocate will not be considered for this opportunity
