- Penetrating into Installed Base, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to the benefit of the customers and ABB.
- Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices, and preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed.
- Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and through identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
- Acting as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline is necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the power distribution, or E&M sectors.
- Direct experience with power distribution systems, electrical services, or related technical solutions is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with products and solutions from Global Electrical solution would be advantage.
- Exceptional sales and marketing acumen, with a demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and drive solution-based sales.
- Outstanding customer service orientation, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging diverse stakeholders, including technical and executive audiences.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and perform effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of industry trends, standards (e.g., IEC, BS), and local regulations in power distribution or E&M industry is a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is preferable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook etc) and familiar with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, or E&M CSD is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, service teams, operation teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Experience in managing tender processes, contract negotiations, and after-sales service agreements.
