We are working across multiple role types and subject matter specialisms, you can access all roles by searching #purposeproject on our Job Search page.Senior Program Manager - Project and Grant Management, Early Childhood Development.Reporting directly to the Head of the team, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing projects and initiating grants related to Early Childhood Development and Education.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Early Childhood Development programs and initiatives including their design, development and implementation of interventions and evaluations. Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery of these interventions and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement project governance and controls to ensure effective execution, including managing different stakeholders and taskforce groups. Monitor the progress of outcomes, budget spending, handle budget changes and manage project evaluation and impact assessment.
  • Consolidate learning insights for sharing with relevant stakeholders (reporting) on a regular basis.
  • Support branding, public affairs, strategic communications, and promotional campaign initiatives.
  • Perform other activities ranging from background research on related social issues, to drafting articles for publicity events.
  • Plan and oversee professional development of supporting team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with no less than 10 years of relevant experience, with 7 years at mid-senior level.
  • Experience working in early child development settings - particularly around curriculum development and physical and emotional development.
  • Solid experience in project and grant management ideally related to children education/development
  • Experience leading and managing teams and multiple stakeholders to achieve goals
  • Strong problem solver with solid people management skills
  • Events organisation and management experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese
