- Assist in planning and conducting a broad range of audits and perform ad hoc reviews or investigations to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the auditee’s risk management and internal control systems, in addition to regulatory compliance measures.
- Perform walkthrough, data analysis, and audit testing to identify key risks, assess controls, and develop recommendations for mitigating risks and control issues identified during audits.
- Assist in preparing internal audit reports, tracking management’s remediation progress, and performing follow-up reviews to ensure the auditees properly and timely implement audit recommendations.
- Assist in designing and updating the internal audit programs and testing templates according to the Group’s audit strategy.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the junior team members.
- Engage in continuous knowledge development of the audit techniques and performance standards, relevant rules and regulations, best practices, and audit tools.
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Relevant professional qualification is a plus, i.e., HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CPAA, CICPA, CFA, CIA or CISA, etc.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in external and/ or internal audit from Big 4 or MNC. Candidates with less experience or professional qualifications will be considered for the Internal Auditor role.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the best practices of corporate governance, risk management, internal control systems, applicable auditing standards and assessment practices, and various finance or business operation processes.
- Basic knowledge of Hong Kong Listing Rules, HKFRS/ IFRS/ CAS, relevant regulatory requirements, applicable auditing standards, and control frameworks, i.e., COSO, COBIT, etc.
- Good command of written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
- Good project management, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision.
- A good team player with strong ownership.
- Highly motivated with the ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Able to commit up to 30% regional/ international travel.
