About Our ClientOur client is a well-known global investment firm. As an Associate, Investment Operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial transactions and investment processes.Job Description
  • Reconcile daily transactions and positions, including monthly market value and accrual reports, with prompt investigation and resolution of any discrepancies in coordination with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties.
  • Identify and resolve trade settlement issues by engaging with custodians, brokers, and traders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accurate trade booking for Institutional Offers, IPOs, and Secondary Placements.
  • Manage proxy voting instructions, security set-up, maintenance, and associated reporting tasks.
  • Monitor and analyze corporate action events; prepare timely and accurate communications.
  • Oversee client flows, maintaining efficient and responsive communication with the Front Office.
  • Support bespoke client reporting deliverables, ensuring timely and precise output.
  • Coordinate regularly with portfolio managers, traders, and custodians to address operational needs.
  • Prepare documentation in support of internal and external audits.
  • Maintain frequent communication across global teams (Investment, Trading, Relationship Management, IT, Senior Management) and with external stakeholders (custodians, clients, service providers).
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adept at managing shifting priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
