Multinational top tier bank in Hong KongThe Role
- Perform cash reconciliation tasks to resolve discrepancies between FPS system and fund accounting records.
- Support manual transaction processing, including switches, redemptions, FX checks, and validations.
- Assist in addressing data segregation issues and manual workarounds for funds with differential pricing.
- Collaborate with Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, and Operations teams to manage high transaction volumes and clear backlogs.
- Identify and implement quick wins to reduce operational risk and improve process efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Fund accounting experience or CPA certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with financial operations, particularly cash reconciliation, transaction processing, or fund administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex operational challenges.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and adapt to environments with limited coordination.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle manual processes (e.g., reconciliations, FX checks).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
