  • This is a CSA position responsible for managing the contractor for the infrastructure setup of the Digital Corporate Identity (CorpID) Platform to be launched for production by end 2026. The CorpID Platform would be set up on a cloud platform, which is developed based on industrial open standards and self-controllable architecture.
Duties:
  • Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
  • The CSA will
  • i) assist in managing the contractor for the infrastructural design and setup of the CorpID Platform, especially on the server and storage architecture, to achieve high availability;
  • ii) assist in managing the contractor for the database architectural design and implementation of the CorpID Platform; and
  • iii) co-ordinate with various testing parties to perform the system testing before the production rollout of the CorpID Platform.
  • The CSA will be required at times to provide support after normal office hours for special events, fire-fighting, urgent deployment of services and to meet the service delivery schedule.
Requirements:
  • The candidate is required to have at least 2 years' solid working experience for the infrastructure setup of (i) large scale with at least 150 virtual machines in production environments and (ii) public-facing systems with at least 10,000 public users, to achieve active-active design;
  • The candidate is required to have at least 2 years' solid working experience of system setup on cloud platform with the use of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) such as Kubernetes;
  • The candidate is required to have at least 2 years' solid working experience of configuration, administration and troubleshooting of database services provided by different cloud platforms;
  • The candidate is required to have at least 2 years' solid working experience of security incident detection and handling for public-facing systems;
  • Possess strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills for troubleshooting in infrastructure setup;
  • Experience of quality assurance is preferred; and
  • To carry out other project related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required.
Technical Skills:
  • At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Production Database Support (PDS);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Technical Architectural Support (TAS).
Non-technical Skills:
  • Good coordination skills is an advantage;
  • 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
  • At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
