About the companyOur client is a well-established retail bank in Hong Kong. Due to their recent expansion, they are now looking for an Executive Director (Dept Head) for their Credit Card Product and Business position.About the roleReporting to the Retail Banking Head, you will lead a sizable team in planning and managing all-rounded lifecycle of credit card business, from card features development, card acquisition, card usage marketing, merchant business, channel distribution, application process, regulations updates to card fraud management. You will act as a leader to develop overall card product strategy effectively to address customer needs and drive business profits. You are requested to propose recommendations to senior management (C-level) to identify improvement areas on credit card product journey and customer experience. You are accountable for managing key performance indicators, product budget, P&L and business forecast to ensure company targets are achieved. In addition, you will lead and in-charge of innovative and digital payment projects to achieve business goals effectively.The successful applicantTo qualify, the successful individual must possess:
  • Degree holder in Business or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience of minimum 10-12 years in card product and business development in retail banks with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Extensive expertise in card operations, fraud management and card process flow is highly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of card product related compliance standards and HKMA regulations is a must.
  • Proven ability to elevate key performance metrics, such as managing card revenue portfolio, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Sound in leading card innovative projects with good knowledge in digital payment development.
  • Strong business sense, good analytical mind and excellent people management skills.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
