  • Design and perform on-site and off-site inspection programs to ensure the adherence to internal and external procedures and guidelines
  • Manage and monitor the operational activities of operations departments and branches to ensure smooth operation processes and adequate controls are in place
  • Develop assessment indicators for branch operational management, conduct regular evaluation on branch operations, and provide guidance for improving branch operations quality
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to the department and branch operation staff, assist them in related assignments
  • Review, revise and give comments on operations procedure manuals
  • Implement risk related projects which can facilitate the risk management process for both branch and operational activities
Job Requirements
  • University graduates in Banking or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years' experience in risk management or setting up controls measures in branch operations and back office
  • Experience in formulating the branch control checklist and conducting regular checking to ensure that the staff adheres to the branch operating procedures
  • Good understanding on branch operational procedures, banking products and services
  • Familiar with banking regulations and requirements, as well as the Bank’s internal policy
  • Good analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with strong risk control sense, able to work independently
  • Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese, as well as good reporting and writing skills
  • Candidate with project management experience is preferable
  • Conversant with MS Office such as Word, Excel
