AaaM (abbreviating Architecture as a Medium), is a design and research studio believing in architecture’s power as a medium for all walks of life to engage, communicate and interact. The team has delivered a wide range of award-winning design and their works ranged from masterplanning, architecture, interior and installation design in Hong Kong, PRC and Southeast Asia. AaaM has focused on place-making and social design and has also regularly engaged public through exhibitions, curations and creative education to advocate design as a power of change. AaaM value collectiveness and adopt a bottom-up approach in the design and engagement process. We are looking for passionate designers to join our growing venture in our Hong Kong office.Immediate projects in search of suitable team members include:
Public Place and Playground Design /
Social Design and Public Engagement DesignArchitectural DesignerThe requirements:
- Degree Graduate in architecture/spatial/environmental design, or in related field with not less than 3 years practice experience
- Self-motivated, pro-active, creative and communicative team-player
- Proficient in 2d drawing in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in 3d modelling in Sketchup/Rhino/Grasshopper & rendering in Vray/Lumion/Enscape
- Competent in visual communication and conceiving concept story-boards
- Capability in leading a team of designers and coordinating with clients and consultants for experienced applicants
- Competent in carrying out detail design and delivering drawing packages for experienced applicants
- Fluent in verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Knowledge in using AI tools such as Midjourney/Stable Diffusion, etc. in assistance to the design process is a plusAaaM Architects offer competitive remuneration that commensurate with experience and skills.
