We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our client's cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in IT security and a strong desire to develop further in a fast-evolving security landscape. You will play a critical role in daily security operations and help enhance the organization's defense posture.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of IT security systems under the guidance of senior staffSupport day-to-day security operations and respond to potential network or security incidentsServe as the first point of contact for handling frontline network and security alertsPerform configuration and basic implementation tasks on firewall and intrusion prevention systems (e.g., Fortinet)Manage and assign system access rights across production, testing, and development environmentsProvide administrative support for network security tools, ensuring continued protection and reliabilityAssist in the analysis of potential cyber threats using tools such as FortiAnalyzer, ELK Stack, and SplunkContribute to vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and system hardening efforts across various platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, CentOS, Ubuntu)Requirements:Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in IT security operations, network administration, or similar rolesExposure to IT risk management, system access governance, or internal control processesProfessional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, NSE, or CCNP are highly desirableFamiliarity with coordinating or supporting cybersecurity initiatives or auditsStrong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaborativelyCandidates with less experience but strong potential and learning mindset will also be considered
