Entry Requirements: Applicants should -
(a) be permanent residents of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) be full-time students of post-secondary institutions expected to graduate in the 2024/25 school year;
(c) be studying Psychology or Social Work, or equivalent;
(d) possess good knowledge in computer applications (including Chinese word processing and spreadsheet); and
(e) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English.
Duties: To provide administrative and professional support to :
(a) guidance projects such as the Enhanced Smart Teen Project;
(b) training camps, courses and workshops for students, guidance and discipline teachers; and
(c) production of relevant resource materials for guidance and discipline services.[Remarks : The normal working place is the office of Guidance and Discipline Section at 14 Taikoo Wan Road, Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong. The summer intern may also be required to work in other locations, such as schools, campsites or education services centres in the light of service needs.]
Terms of Appointment: Successful interns will be engaged on non-civil service contract terms for a period of not more than three months from June to August 2024.
Fringe Benefits Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), sick leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. Applicants who have declared disabilities found suitable for appointment may be given an appropriate degree of preference over other applicants whose suitability for appointment is considered comparable to that of the former. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/ Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
