Job Summary:The Red Hat Hong Kong Consulting Services team seeks a Technical Project Manager to join us in Hong Kong. In this role, you will lead the service consultants and partners of Red Hat to implement technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat middleware and automation, etc. Especially for those digital transformation projects. As a Technical Project Manager to help our client be successful in their digital transformation, you will also build enterprise applications and capabilities around cloud technologies to streamline development and allow for continuous feature release of applications. This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about learning new technologies and expanding your core base of expertise while traveling to client sites within Hong Kong promoting Red Hat solutions.Primary Job Responsibilities:Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation for delivering high-quality resultsLead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk identification and mitigationCoordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budgetAnalyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be metEstablish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changeEstablish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risksStructure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projectsDevelop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchersAssign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverablesReport project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work planRequired Skills:Five or more years of project management experience within IT with enterprise, preferably in cloud and automation projects.Strong interpersonal skills for team collaborationExperience in developing microservice and container platforms for maximum usabilityStrong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelinesProven success working with all levels of managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsProficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).Strong leadership and team management skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management.Preferred skills and qualificationsProfessional certification such as PMP or CSMExperience in Red Hat software is preferredExperience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill setsAbout Red Hatis the world’s leading provider of enterprise software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
