
Senior Vice President, Construction

- Develop strategy including identification and execution of new strategies/ opportunities.
- People management and development of the Client Executive team including:
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programmes to enhance employee capabilities.
- Support ongoing learning and development initiatives to ensure employees have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Regular feedback, coaching and recognition to employees to drive performance and encourage professional growth.
- Management of strategic regional clients/ projects, namely those involving project financing, complex contract reviews, bespoke placement structures. Bring the entire team together to formulate the go-to-market strategy.
- Preparation and management of client proposals, tenders and presentations.
- Utilize expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients’ needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
- Country operation oversight encompassing relationship building with key internal stakeholders, pipeline development, technical resource and insurance/ reinsurance programme management. Specific Asia retail country responsibility to be determined.
- Strategy responsibility for Asia interests into USA including research, engagement with US offices, develop and execute agreed strategy.
- New product identification and development.
- Development of the construction digital platform offering and associated material for client promotion, RFPs and presentations
- Ongoing talent identification and recruitment.
- Regional / Country claims management and overview.
- A minimum 10 years of experience in construction or related speciality.
- Strong technical expertise and a solid foundational knowledge of the industry.
- In-depth understanding of working within multicultural and multinational environments; on-the-ground experience in Asia is preferred.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with business teams to drive growth and development.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with the capacity to manage relationships across all levels of seniority.
- Prior team management experience is essential.
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Resilience and the ability to maintain performance under pressure.
- Gravitas and professionalism to engage confidently with C-suite executives.
- Reflective mindset and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is a must.
