Our client, an international bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join its Corporate Banking team in Hong Kong. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of China-based corporate clients, including large private enterprises and SOEs, and involves both hands-on credit work and cross-functional collaboration.What does the role involve?
  • Conduct financial reviews, credit rating assessments, and long-term loan evaluations.
  • Monitor credit performance and ensure compliance with internal approval conditions and regulatory standards.
  • Manage documentation for new and existing transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support business growth and portfolio performance.
  • Contribute to policy implementation and identify process improvements across the credit function.
  • Support junior team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
What experience do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Ideally 4+ years of experience in credit analysis and proposal preparation.
  • Strong financial modeling and projection skills, with solid knowledge of PRC corporate sectors.
  • Experience in team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
