We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our client as the Head of Corporate Communications for the Hong Kong and Mainland market.As a listed company, effective communication and reputation management are crucial for maintaining shareholder confidence and ensuring transparency in their operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the corporate communications strategy to enhance our brand image and drive engagement with key stakeholders.Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with the company's goals and values, focusing on the Hong Kong and Mainland market.Oversee the planning and execution of all internal and external communication initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and effective delivery across various platforms.Manage media relations, including building strong relationships with journalists, handling media inquiries, and organizing media events and press conferences.Serve as the company spokesperson and provide strategic counsel to senior management on communication matters, including crisis communication and reputation management.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, industry associations, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to proactively identify communication opportunities and mitigate potential risks.Drive the development and production of corporate publications, including annual reports, press releases, presentations, and other communication materials.Collaborate with internal departments, such as Investor Relations, Marketing, and Human Resources, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts.Manage a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing and motivated team.Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.Proven experience of at least 20 years in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, preferably in a listed company.Strong understanding of the Hong Kong and Mainland market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).Demonstrated track record in developing and executing successful corporate communications strategies, including media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.Strategic thinker with the ability to align communication efforts with business objectives and navigate complex organizational structures.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines.Familiarity with digital communication platforms and tools, social media management, and content creation is desirable.Interested individuals can click apply now and send updated resume (in WORD format) to Coffee Wang coffee.wang@connectedgroup.com for further information.
