2 September to 6 December 2024
The teacher will be required to teach throughout the English Secondary Department (Year 7-13), and to
prepare students for the IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma examinations in Chemistry.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each
child to achieve the highest possible standards through inspirational teaching.What is required and what we're looking for
- Teaching qualification and suitable academic qualifications in the subject area
- 3 years, or more, teaching experience preferred
- A willingness to contribute to the development of our taught programme in Chemistry and the
- Experience of, or knowledge of, the IB Diploma Programme in Chemistry would be advantageous
- The ability to offer other Sciences, or General Science, to younger secondary students would be
- Experience of teaching aspirational and high achieving students is desirable
- Excellent English speaker with sound written and oral communication skills (native speaker level)
- Culturally sensitive, tolerant and patient
- Positive, proactive and independent work ethic
