Besides focusing on the Hong Kong market, the Group helps oversee Deloitte China's US tax professionals in Beijing and Shanghai and is the designated provider of US tax services to Deloitte's clients in Asia Pacific. The Group specializes in US international tax work involving MNCs, investment funds and high net worth individuals and families. Deloitte China values specialization and the Group is one of the most high-performing specialized group within the firm.Work you'll do
  • Support the preparation and review of US federal and state income tax returns with a focus on partnerships, corporations, trusts and/or international tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the US tax regulations.
  • Assist with FATCA, CRS and QI compliance and advisory engagements, including due diligence, reporting, and other related advisory services;
  • Assist with US tax consulting and due diligence projects, including conducting tax research and drafting tax advisory reports;
  • Assist with international tax advisory services, including US inbound and outbound transactions, group restructuring and cross-border tax planning; and
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit, consulting, and global tax professionals, to provide integrated solutions.
You are also expected to

We are looking for someone with
  • Bachelor degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines;
  • Professional accounting qualification or registered tax agent (or in the process of pursuing the relevant qualification);
  • (For Senior Consultant) At least 2 year(s) of relevant US tax compliance and/or consulting experience;
  • Strong analytical skills and committed to quality client service;
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
