Make a difference every day!Job DescriptionJob Summary: Responsible for day-to-day trading of Asia Pacific Equities across multiple strategies and portfolio managers. Work with local and global stakeholders on ensuring the investment process adheres to best execution principles.Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute single stock, electronic, and program trades as guided by Senior Traders
  • Work with other business teams and external counterparts (brokers, Exchanges, Investment teams, Operations, Compliance etc) to solve investment process issues
  • Work with technology to enhance trading systems and workflows
  • Monitor Best execution process using TCA and other proprietary tools
  • Support Asia equity traders on data collection, reporting and analysis
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market microstructure and potential impact
  • Provide market information and stock specific updates to various Investment Teams
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Code of Conduct principles
Work Experience / Knowledge:
  • University graduate with a degree preferably in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
  • 1 to 3 years trading experience in the Equity markets
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilient, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin are a plus but not a requirement
  • Comfortable working with complex systems and processes
  • A good thinker who can work under high pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and some knowledge of programming preferred
  • Collaborative, proactive team player that can work with different internal and external stakeholders.
