The DepartmentThe Broadcasting Operations Department is responsible for the live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong and the production of related promotional audio and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as PA sound system at different venues at the racecourses.The JobYou will
  • responsible for live broadcast sound system setup and signal check
  • monitor audio signal and sound level in operation
  • operate microphone signal, field mixer and recording for live broadcast sound system
  • identify areas of potential sound level adjustment
  • providing audio-visual support across all venues to ensure the production quality meets broadcasting standards
  • communicate across the venue support and broadcast producer
  • maintain AV equipment and equipped rooms in good condition
  • advanced fault finding and troubleshooting
  • ensuring all faults are reported and escalated
  • work on daily check list and log sheet for operation record
About youYou should have
  • certificate in Audio & Visual production or other relevant experience
  • with at least 2 years' experience in technical support of TV or entertainment production
  • proven background working in a technical audio-visual operation
  • good knowledge of audio-visual, network systems
  • strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • capability in Cantonese, English and Mandarin speaking
  • excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels and confidence in developing client relationships
  • team collaboration whilst maintaining team morale
  • experience in TV stations and OB for sport events would be a distinct advantage
  • able to work on public holidays and Wednesday racing nights
