Perform quality inspections of electronic components according to procedures and standards
Use naked eyes, microscopes and inspection tools to perform visual inspection and ensure component matches manufacturer’s specifications – checking for correct part, part number, quantity and any defect, etc
Use alcohol swipes or scrape tools to verify that product have not been blacktopped
Apply proper seal/dry packaging according to the moisture sensitivity level of the components
Utilize our proprietary system to document inspection observations
Determine discrepancies and report “red flags” if an inspected part is indicated as suspected
Communicate with appropriate individuals during daily operations and report abnormal incidents to management
Handle ad hoc assignments and work over-time when required

Requirements

Experience or knowledge in component or product inspection and electronics industry will be an advantage
Written and oral communication skills are required
Multi-tasking and organizational skills are required
Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
Able to learn quickly and attention to details
Able to carry/lift components in original packaging when necessary
