  • Support the review of the Bank’s sustainability performance via sustainability data management, periodic analysis and regular stakeholder engagement processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support engagement activities for staff and different stakeholders to support our sustainability goals and pillars
  • Provide support on the implementation of the Bank’s ESG, sustainability and GSB initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis on Green and Sustainable Finance (GSF), ESG and climate risk-related topics
  • Conduct peer review and research on both local and global GSF, ESG standards and frameworks
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of climate-related and sustainability
  • Collect, consolidate, analyse and verify sustainability information and data for regular reporting and other sustainability-related submissions and disclosures
  • Support the publication of the Bank’s annual Sustainability Report as well as provide support on meeting internal and external reporting requirements
  • Assist in ESG and GSB reporting in quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Facilitate and assist the Sustainability Working Group on technical and administrative matters
  • Assume Sustainability related projects and initiatives as required and assigned by the supervisor
  • Perform ad hoc duties on GSF, ESG or sustainability-related issues
Requirements:
  • Degree holder or above in Environmental Science, Risk Management, Economics or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the banking or consulting industry and knowledge of banking business, processes and products. Experience in ESG, green and sustainable banking, and climate risk management an advantage
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail-minded
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
