- Support the review of the Bank’s sustainability performance via sustainability data management, periodic analysis and regular stakeholder engagement processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support engagement activities for staff and different stakeholders to support our sustainability goals and pillars
- Provide support on the implementation of the Bank’s ESG, sustainability and GSB initiatives
- Conduct research and analysis on Green and Sustainable Finance (GSF), ESG and climate risk-related topics
- Conduct peer review and research on both local and global GSF, ESG standards and frameworks
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of climate-related and sustainability
- Collect, consolidate, analyse and verify sustainability information and data for regular reporting and other sustainability-related submissions and disclosures
- Support the publication of the Bank’s annual Sustainability Report as well as provide support on meeting internal and external reporting requirements
- Assist in ESG and GSB reporting in quantitative and qualitative manner
- Facilitate and assist the Sustainability Working Group on technical and administrative matters
- Assume Sustainability related projects and initiatives as required and assigned by the supervisor
- Perform ad hoc duties on GSF, ESG or sustainability-related issues
- Degree holder or above in Environmental Science, Risk Management, Economics or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the banking or consulting industry and knowledge of banking business, processes and products. Experience in ESG, green and sustainable banking, and climate risk management an advantage
- Organized, self-motivated and detail-minded
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written English and Chinese
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
