- Negotiate with service providers to secure competitive pricing, thereby achieving cost-effective contract terms for business planning
- Ensure data integrity via daily basis for data maintenance
- Monitor the operational process and establish SOP and guidelines for effectively managing ocean freight operations. Promptly notify the manager if any deviations occur
- Prepare KPI reports to monitor service providers' performance on a regular basis
- Assist Manager to maintain the relationship with service providers and verifying that their performance meets the required standards
- Collaborate with service providers under the guidance of the Manager to initiate and facilitate operational enhancements
- Coordinate with service providers and Supply Chain Management teams regarding any special operations issue and inquiries
- Analyse the pricing review, spot quotation, and ocean freight contract tendering with the Freight Forwarder Management team
- Conduct an analysis on ocean freight marketing intelligence and deliver updated information to internal teams
- Introduce new operational procedures and implement performance metrics to evaluate efficiency of freight forwarder
- Provide guidance and technical advice to Specialist on daily operation
- Degree holder in Supply Chain/ Logistics or related studies
- 8 years of full-time relevant experience, preferably in Carrier/ Freight Forwarder/ Buying/ Sourcing offices
- Experience in reporting and analytics support in logistics field
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Excellent analytic, problem solving and project management skills
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, team player
- Experience with Logistics IT Software Solution is advantageous
