- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific focus on the healthcare, financial services, TMT, consumer, and retail sectors.
- Evaluate potential investment targets by performing rigorous financial modeling, conducting due diligence, and assessing market dynamics and growth potential.
- Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and other materials to support investment decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with senior members of the investment team in deal negotiations, structuring transactions, and managing the due diligence process.
- Monitor the performance and progress of portfolio companies, track industry trends, and provide regular updates and recommendations to the investment team.
- Engage and collaborate with external stakeholders, including industry experts, advisors, and legal professionals, to facilitate successful deal execution.
- Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific focus on the designated sectors.
- Bachelor's degree/ Master's from an Ivy league or leading university.
- Possess 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with exposure to the Asia-Pacific region.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial viability.
- In-depth understanding of the healthcare, financial services, TMT, consumer, and retail sectors, including market dynamics, key trends, and investment opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare investment memos and effectively present complex information.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a diligent work ethic.
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in financial analysis tools, such as Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint.
