- You are comfortable with shift holiday and shift rotation (day and evening shift) arrangement
- You are passionate about People & Culture function and enjoy working with people
- You have the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- You have good organizing, communication and interpersonal skills
- You have high level of flexibility and willingness to learn
- You can work as part of a team as well as independently
- You are able to ensure integrity of HR systems, guidelines and documents, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- You Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese Word Processing
- You can communicate confidently and clearly in spoken and written English and Chinese
- You can prioritize and organize own work
- You are a quick learner who is able to adapt to changing demands Interest in the retail of home furnishing
- Deal effectively with all initial enquiries to the human resources function, and escalate where appropriate
- Together with Store People & Culture Business Partner to ensure that all candidates have applied through the recruitment process receive a timely response with the right communication at the right time
- Responsible for ensuring all human resources administrative systems are accurate and compliance with audit procedures
- Support People & Culture team to ensure all Human Resources administration is completed in a timely manner, including new starters, leavers, personal and job changes thus ensuring legal compliance and minimum disruption to co-worker pay
- Maintain co-worker personal profile and database and make sure that it is always up to date
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities, including training and performance evaluation
- Be one of the advisors in the store for IKEA Human Resources policies & procedures support the line managers to ensure a consistent and fair approach. Guide and advise co-workers of the process, their responsibilities, and the procedure to follow under IKEA policy
- Responsible for ensuring all co-workers are supplied with the appropriate uniform, tools, and equipment to perform the job
- Assist in internal event organization and coordination, including recreational events and training activities
- 210 hours per month, mainly 9am - 6:45pm, shift rotation between Monday to Sunday
- 6-7 days off per month + Public Holiday
- Location: Sha Tin / Kowloon Bay
