Education
  • Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, Master's) with 2-3 years of relevant work experience or undergraduate degree (e.g., Bachelor's) with 3-4 years of relevant work experience
  • University degree(s) ideally in environmental science, engineering, social sciences, economics, finance, international relations or other relevant fields
ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Lead Analyst 2 will be focused on delivering sustainable finance assessments (such as Second Party Opinions and Net Zero Assessments) to customers across a diverse set of sectors including the corporate, financial and public sectors. The successful candidate will possess ample knowledge of the sustainable finance space and demonstrable track record of working in Asia Pacific. This is a visible external role that will require interaction with prospective and current customers and other market participants. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing and dynamic area of sustainable finance.
  • Perform analysis and lead work on sustainable finance assessments a variety of issuers and sectors, demonstrating sound analytical judgement and leadership
  • Ensure professional and responsive engagement with customers while demonstrating depth of expertise and knowledge
  • Establish relationships with issuers, underwriters and investors and manage key strategic relationships
  • Help develop and deliver thought leading presentations on key topics affecting the sustainable finance sector
  • Contribute to thematic research that supports positioning Moody's as a leader in the sustainable finance space
  • Contribute to the sustainable finance team's analytical development and analysis of market trends
  • Guide and mentor more junior staff, effectively managing joint tasks
  • Support other projects furthering thought leadership, process improvement and innovation
About the teamOur Sustainable Finance Assessments team is responsible for producing assessments on the credentials of sustainable debt instruments and financing frameworks (Second Party Opinions) and the strength of entities' carbon transition plans (Net Zero Assessments). Our role is to support the integrity and clarity of a market that is becoming increasingly complex, covering a growing range of sectors and technologies.
