- Assist the CEO in all aspects of global investment and M&A projects, from initial screening and due diligence to deal closing and post-merger integration.
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research to support investment decisions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, industry reports, and other relevant data.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Assist in the negotiation of deal terms and conditions.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of investment risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and disclosures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investment managers, legal counsel, financial advisors, and other service providers.
- Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in investment-related roles, with a focus on M&A, corporate finance, or private equity.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and M&A processes.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with stakeholders in Hong Kong and globally.
- (Preferred) Experience working with a publicly listed company, particularly in Hong Kong.
- (Preferred) Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
