This role is a critical support function for the CEO, providing essential assistance in the execution of global investment and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and M&A processes, coupled with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of a leading technology services company in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Investment & M&A Support:
  • Assist the CEO in all aspects of global investment and M&A projects, from initial screening and due diligence to deal closing and post-merger integration.
  • Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, industry reports, and other relevant data.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist in the negotiation of deal terms and conditions.
  • Assist in the identification and mitigation of investment risks.
Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and disclosures.
Communication & Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investment managers, legal counsel, financial advisors, and other service providers.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in investment-related roles, with a focus on M&A, corporate finance, or private equity.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and M&A processes.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with stakeholders in Hong Kong and globally.
  • (Preferred) Experience working with a publicly listed company, particularly in Hong Kong.
  • (Preferred) Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
