Our client is a well known consultancy firm for Ports & terminal projects.A key position to lead and oversee the engineering department, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure efficient and effective operations within the port facility.Client DetailsOur client is a well known consultancy firm for Ports & terminal projects.Description· Manage and coordinate all engineering activities related to the port's infrastructure, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.· Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize port operations, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.· Provide technical expertise and support in civil engineering, specifically in port and maritime infrastructure development and maintenance.· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the port's engineering capabilities and infrastructure.· Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.· Ensure the timely completion of engineering projects, taking into consideration budgetary constraints and resource allocation.· Oversee the management of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including budgeting, cost control, and asset management.· Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, contractors, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.· Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in civil engineering, port operations, and asset management, and incorporate them into the port's engineering strategies.ProfileQualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.· Professional chartered engineer (CEng) status is required.· Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on port and maritime infrastructure.· Extensive knowledge and experience in asset management, including CAPEX projects and financial analysis.· Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering successful engineering projects.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.· In-depth understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in port operations and civil engineering.· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle complex engineering challenges.· Fluency in English is required;Job Offer
