The company is a leading investment institution with concrete business in Hong Kong. This is a permanent position.Responsibilities
  • Design virtualization and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) to support enterprise workloads.
  • Develop and maintain container cluster architecture, including node planning, storage design, and network configuration.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate various infrastructure solutions and new technologies to determine the best fit for different projects.
  • Implement and support infrastructure solutions in high-performance trading environments that require stability, high throughput, and low latency.
  • Advise on operating policies, technical architecture, and configuration of infrastructure systems.
  • Create detailed documentation for system architecture and design.
  • Define standard approaches and configurations for infrastructure technologies, including monitoring, troubleshooting, installation, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery, testing, and capacity planning.
  • Review deliverables from project and BAU teams to ensure high-quality delivery and implementation.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and system design.
  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in system and network administration.
  • Hands-on experience developing scripting solutions for process improvement and automation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of storage solutions and database technologies is a plus.
  • Proactive with strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
  • Strong commands of Chinese and English is necessary.
