Whiskers N Paws is looking for an energetic and community-driven Assistant Community & Events Manager to help us create memorable experiences for pet lovers and nurture a loyal, engaged community.In this role, you’ll be at the heart of building strong relationships with pet parents, key opinion leaders (KOLs), partners and advocates who share our love for animals. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll execute dynamic events and community engagement initiatives that grow our reach and amplify our brand voice, both in-store and online.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a natural energy for connecting with people, and want to make a meaningful impact in the pet space, we’d love to meet you!Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Relationship Management : Proactively engage and build authentic relationships with pet parents, influencers, KOLs, and community partners to foster loyalty and advocacy for WNP.Drive Community Engagement : Develop and execute creative community-building initiatives that bring pet lovers together through events, social channels, and grassroots outreach.Event Management : Plan, organize, and manage fun, impactful events ranging from in-store activations to community adoption days and educational workshops with our expert partners.Online Community Support : Work with our Senior Account Executive to manage digital community platforms (e.g., WhatsApp groups, Instagram Broadcast, Facebook groups) to cultivate ongoing conversations and support.Partnership & Influencer Collaboration : Identify and nurture collaborations with charities, local pet businesses and social media influencers to co-create events.Content Support : Work side-by-side our content creator to capture real-time event moments and community stories that reflect the spirit of WNP. Content creation experience is a plus.Marketing Coordination : Ensure alignment of community and event initiatives with broader brand campaigns and business goals.Performance Tracking : Measure the impact of events and community programs, gathering insights to continuously improve engagement and participation.Brand Representation : Act as a key ambassador of the WNP brand enthusiastically promoting our mission, values, and deep commitment to the pet-loving community.Who You Are5+ years in community engagement, event management, marketing, or a related field ideally with a strong people-facing or customer-centric focus.A natural relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for customers and pets.Proven track record in planning and executing successful community or influencer-driven campaigns.Comfortable with being featured in content, community outreach, and representing a brand both online and in person.Strong project management skills and experience juggling multiple timelines.Hands-on with social media platforms and digital tools for community activation.Analytical mindset with a focus on improving engagement and retention.Passion for animals and a deep understanding of pet parent lifestyles is a big plus.Fluent in Cantonese and English.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
