seeking enthusiastic and highly dedicated academics to join the University in support of its strategic development in diverse areas.Professor / Associate Professor in Professional and Vocational EducationWe are seeking inspirational and energetic candidate(s) to join the University in support of its development in the area of Professional and
Vocational Education. The successful applicant(s) will join the University's highly qualified scholars' team and affiliate to the relevant
academic department and/or academy. S/He will contribute to enhancing the University's research capacity and impact, conduct high-
quality research, generate scholarly publications or other significant research outputs, initiate and support research projects, and securing
external research grants, external funding and donations to enhance area impact, strengthen academic and professional networks including
collaborations with local and overseas institutions and universities; provide effective leadership in programme and curriculum
development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, quality assurance and continuous improvement of learning and teaching within
our University in the area of Professional and Vocational Education. The appointee will participate in activities related to project
supervision, guidance to students in the capacity of personal tutors, and so on. The appointee is expected to contribute to curriculum and
programme development, programme and course management and partake in departmental activities and provide good service
contributions to the University and the community.Applicants should have a doctoral degree and/or prior degrees in relevant subject discipline(s). Possession of a relevant professional
teaching certificate, e.g., PGDE or qualification of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognized by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong or
other qualification of equivalence will be an asset. Applicants possessing relevant teaching and professional experience in the fields of
Professional and Vocational Education at tertiary education setting are highly preferred. Applicants should have demonstrated effective
leadership and a high level of management responsibilities for co-ordination and advancement of teaching and learning initiatives such as
