Start date is early June 2024.Position PurposeThe HR DEI intern is responsible for supporting the development and execution of initiatives to promote employee engagement and diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion and equity in the workplace.ResponsibilitiesDiversity Equity and Inclusion
  • Support in the development and implementation of a strategic DEI roadmap for APAC which is aligned with the challenges of the local markets and global DEI strategy in order to drive employee engagement, equity and inclusion;
  • Collaborate with L&D, Territory HR teams, Regional HR business partners and Brand & Communications to deliver the regional DEI programs;
  • Analyze key metrics – both quantitative and qualitative to assess effectiveness of the DEI initiatives and communicate progress towards the regional goals;
  • Keep abreast of the latest research on DEI, market best practices, trends in order to continually benchmark against internal initiatives;
  • Work closely with existing ERGs and partner with internal stakeholders to create new ERGs aligned to the DEI philosophy of the Bank;
  • Identify, build, and sustain DEI partnerships to support corporate diversity and inclusion projects/plans/initiatives and business strategies.
HR Business Partner Support
  • Support in the identification and execution of the people priorities for 2024;
  • Use a data driven approach to arrive at insights and identify areas of focus;
  • Support Succession Planning for key roles;
  • Work on initiatives to increase retention and promote employee engagement across specific business areas.
