Accountant (Hong Kong focus)

- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions
- Update financial records via accounting software
- Perform month-end close activities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules for management review
- Verify petty cash and expense claims
- Assist in statutory audit and tax reporting
- Maintain account receivables, assist in invoice issuance, prepare aging report and follow up on debt collection with relevant departments
- Maintaining account payables, ensure timely payment of invoices
- Identify and report any financial discrepancies or irregularities
- Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
- Other ad-hoc tasks
- 2 - 4 years work experience in accounting
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft application skills
- Must be proactive and passionate with high attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic nature of accounting and finance
- Strong communication and writing skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
