Our professional, dynamic team is in charge of Supply Chain matters in the heart of Asia.We invite now high caliber talent to apply for Senior Logistics Officer - Ocean Freight Consolidation to join our rapidly growing sourcing team in Hong Kong. This position supports supply chain operation with a fast-paced successful team.Responsibilities:

Manage supply chain related daily operation with adherence to SOP and handle exceptions with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and able to identify areas for improvement
Work with cross-functional teams and service partners to identify solutions to resolve operations issues in a timely and cost-efficient manner
Conduct analysis in preparation of volume forecast for freight forwarders and carriers
Plan and monitor the execution of carrier space utilization with freight forwarders
Collate and ensure a high level of accuracy and completeness of the PO upload and shipment data feed from the responsible stakeholders
Support Manager to conduct periodical operation reviews with service partners
Prepare shipment status and KPI reports on regular or ad hoc basis
Identify opportunities to leverage and/or enhance the supply chain digital tool to get better visibility and control in shipment operations
Maintain good relationship with ALDI Countries’ Supply Chain counterparts and work in collaboration to resolve operation issues and queries to achieve on time in full shipments
Support the implementation of new operational requirements and changes fit to ALDI’s business needs
Manage own area of responsibility actively by taking initiative to suggest ways of improvement to achieve greater efficiency
Assist the training and provide guidance on problem solving on any logistics issues to the Specialists in day-to-day operations
Support the team in the absence of Manager and report to a stand-in Manager in need
Support Manager on ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Your Profile:

At least tertiary education with minimum 8 years of full-time relevant experience, preferably in logistics department of Freight forwarder/Buyer/Sourcing offices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communications and interpersonal skills, team player
Good command of both verbal and written business English as well as fluency in Mandarin essential
Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning skills
High level of computer literacy: MS Office and Exchange; advanced Excel knowledge
Experience in reporting and analytics support in logistics field is advantageous
Experience with Logistics IT Software Solution is advantageous
