
Supply Chain Manager (Ocean Freight Consolidation)

- Lead, manage, and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Utilize KPIs and exception dashboards to manage and monitor daily operations, optimizing on-time and in-full shipments while minimizing freight costs.
- Ensure timely maintenance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by the team and service providers in daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of business requirements and targets.
- Build strong partnerships with logistics service providers, conduct regular business review meetings, and drive continuous improvement in their performance.
- Share market insights with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and enhance supply chain resilience.
- Participate in project and engage in broader initiatives beyond daily operations.
- Provide management reporting and conduct data analysis as required.
- Degree holder or above in Supply Chain Management or other relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing international logistics and ocean freight operations.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar managerial position gained in sizable organization.
- Experience in logistics position within a logistics service provider, beneficial cargo owner or buying/ sourcing office or retail environment is preferable.
- Good team player to work in cross functional, and culturally diverse international environment.
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills to navigate complex environment and collaborate with stakeholders across levels.
- Good attention to details, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with IT applications and software such as Power BI, Tableau, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
