Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association (AKA) is a non-profit organisation that actively provides multi-faceted integrated services and serving people of different ages with the clear vision of striving for excellence and developing a sustainable society. Social Service, Education Service and Health Service are the three pillars of services contributing to the public value.
We are seeking high-calibred and dedicated candidates who are interested to accept the challenge of operating the Southern District Health Centre (SDHC) in line with the government policy and AKA’s strategic development by joining our multi-disciplinary team and meeting the healthcare needs of the residents in the Southern community. The DHC is a primary healthcare initiative of the Government. Through public-private partnership, medical-social collaboration, it provides district-based primary healthcare services which comprise comprehensive Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Prevention programmes targeting community members of varying ages and needs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced end-user IT support, serving as the primary escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage the outsourced IT helpdesk service provider relationship, including monitoring service performance against SLAs, overseeing ticket escalations, and ensuring consistent quality of service delivery
  • Oversee and perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades for operating systems and applications to maintain system stability and security.
  • Enforce IT security best practices, including antivirus management, patch deployment, and access control, to ensure full compliance with IT policies
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, operating procedures, inventories, and troubleshooting processes
  • Deliver user IT training sessions, develop user guides and manuals, and provide ongoing support to end users to enhance IT proficiency and ensure adherence to IT security policies and guidelines
  • Assist with IT projects, including system migrations, technology deployments, and infrastructure upgrades
Requirements:
  • Degree in Information Technology (IT) or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience in IT system project and vendor management
  • Prior working experience in government, social and medical sector
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Shift duty including night shift until 9:15pm per week maybe required
