- Independently handle claims efficiently (local and Multinational claims) in accordance with company service standards, procedures and guidelines
- Participate in site inspections for claims
- Assessment of appropriate claims reserves in accordance with company reserving philosophy
- Instructing and continuous monitoring the perf ormance of the service providers whilst exercising ind ependent adjudgment from claims perspective
- Compile claims statistics and perform claims portfolio analysis
- Attend clients facing activities for brokers/clients and conduct internal and external meetings and trainings.
- Closely liaise with business units to update claims development/trend and support them in their business development activities
- Regular communications with other team members and active discussions on claimsissues and o bserv ations
- Participate in the company's claims related and other projects/initiatives
- Providing general assistance and support to management in the general running of claims operations (eg case sharing, providing claims data, responding to queries form other business functions etc).
- Degree or professional qualification holder in civil engineering or related disciplin
- Insurance Professional qualification preferred (e.g. ACII/FCII)
- Minimum 5 years' engineering and construction claims handling experience
- Prior team leadership experience- coaching, delegation and ability to foster efficient and organised collaboration
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proactive mindset, capable of working independently and part of a team
- Excellent customer servicing mindset and skills
- Languages: (i) Native or bilingual English and Cantonese capabilityis essential and (ii) Business level in spoken Mandarin
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
