ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics, BI, and operational systems.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and analysts to translate business needs into scalable data structures.Ensure models align with enterprise standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.Maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries to enhance data transparency and accessibility.Optimize models for performance, scalability, and maintainability across cloud and hybrid platforms.Conduct data profiling and validation to ensure model accuracy and identify quality issues early.Support ETL/ELT development by providing clear mappings, transformation logic, and documentation.Document data flows, entity relationships, and modeling decisions for technical and business audiences.Apply domain expertise in Hong Kong Life and General Insurance to reflect industry and regulatory standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.6+ years of experience in data modeling, ideally within the insurance domain (e.g., policies, claims, actuarial).Proficient in designing models for Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake, supporting all data types.Skilled with modeling tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or Visio; version control via GitHub.Strong grasp of relational, dimensional, and data lake modeling techniques (e.g., star, snowflake, 3NF).Experience modeling metadata, reference data, and master data using Informatica for governance and quality.Advanced SQL and Spark skills for profiling, validation, and prototyping in Databricks environments.Familiarity with insurance compliance standards such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
