Our plans to expand into the Greater Bay Area (GBA) will also cultivate talent to serve Hong Kong and the wider metropolitan GBA.For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk.We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will assist Principal Investigator in the research project “The Effectiveness of Blended Learning on Enhancing Students’ Engagement, Motivation and Self-Efficacy to Learn Human Anatomy and Physiology: A Mixed-Method Study (Project no.: R8033)”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
  • Managing the logistics matters;
  • Assisting in conducting interventions and data collection;
  • Conducting literature reviews on relevant topics;
  • Performing data processing;
  • Assisting in a broad range of administrative duties, including preparation of progress updates, meeting minutes, reports, and social media posts; and
  • Providing other research-related assistance.
CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
  • Part-time Research Assistant II: A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in psychology, education, counselling, social sciences, or related disciplines;
  • Part-time Technical Assistant: Minimum qualification of DSE or a recognized Diploma;
  • Experience in research and data processing;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Proficiency in SPSS will be an advantage;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good coordination, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and;
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, and ability to work independently.
