- Responsible for managing the jewellery production cycle include but not limited to work closely with jewellery factory in Hong Kong and China for the entire products, costing, sample follow up, inventory control, follow-up purchasing order and quality control, etc;
- Responsible for the entire merchandising process.
- Managing the purchase of diamonds and gold.
- Develop Marketing Strategies.
- Prepare trend and analytical reports to our management.
- Monitor overall product development process and to ensure on time deliveries.
- Execute product administration.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Staff Recruitment.
- Coordinating with Overseas Office in USA and India.
- Liaison and negotiation with suppliers in Hong Kong.
- Extensive knowledge of diamonds, GIA, IGI certified stones.
- Strong Knowledge in Gold / Diamond / Jade / Gem Stone / Semi-Precious Stone.
- End to End experience in Jewellery Production – taking orders from clients in USA, sourcing the diamonds and gold and get the jewelry manufactured in Hong Kong or China.
- Possess 20 years’ product planning experience, those with solid merchandising experience in jewellery field.
- At least 15 years purchasing experience in purchase precious diamonds.
- Experience in sourcing, sample development and production.
- A self-starter with strong analytical and organization skills.
- Strong fashion sense with exposures in 24K gold & fine jewellery preferred.
- Liasing with diamond suppliers in India.
- Lead an experienced team of gemologists and diamonds associates on providing non-biased advice to individual and institutional investors on building and expanding their diamond investment portfolios.
- Professional advice on the investment of high quality diamonds (1 to 30 carats) as an alternate investment to individual and institutional investors.
