
Senior Finance Manager, Reporting (Bank)

- Manage the complete financial reporting process.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with HKFRS, local GAAP, and group reporting standards.
- Supervise Accounts Payable functions to guarantee timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and issuance of audited financial statements in accordance with HKFRS.
- Evaluate accounting impacts of new products and businesses from a unit controller perspective.
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and backed by appropriate documentation.
- Proactively investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
- Implement process enhancements and controls to strengthen reconciliation processes.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures in the corporate general ledger and P&L.
- Conduct price verification for forwards and swaps.
- Work with Treasury to facilitate FX transactions.
- Act as the Concur T&E system administrator, maintaining approval hierarchies and policy rules.
- Provide training and support for employees and finance team members on Concur best practices.
- Review and audit expense reports for policy compliance and accurate coding.
- Oversee the monthly intercompany recharge process, including billing and aging analysis of outstanding amounts.
- Ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions with complete supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating recurring finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations, journal entries, reporting).
- Participate as a core member in finance system enhancements, ERP upgrades, and internal control improvements.
- Review and validate group Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Qualified CPA from recognized accounting bodies (e.g., HKSA, ACCA, AICPA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in "Big Four" audit.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in a finance role within the securities brokerage market.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and HKAS.
- Proven ability to enhance and optimize systems and processes.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills.
- Proactive, credible, and able to work independently with initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally familiar with Concur T&E, SUN Accounting System, and Excel.
