Role Type: Full-time, PermanentWhat will your day look like?As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking Sales you will;
- Manage and grow a portfolio of large corporates with operations spanning multiple regions, particularly in Asia.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through new deal origination, ongoing account management, and collaboration with GRP, local sales teams, and Operations to ensure a seamless end-to-end service proposition.
- Plan and measure customer activity to drive revenue and profitable growth, working closely with coverage teams.
- Prepare and deliver strategic reviews to uncover insights and opportunities, as well as develop comprehensive customer account plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) requirements.
- Continuously monitor market trends and changes in the financial industry to stay current with the latest products and services.
- Generate new business and build a regional sales pipeline through a proactive customer calling program.
- Manage risk by building robust Trade Finance financing structures and monitoring ongoing client Trade requirements.
- Deliver internal initiatives to drive digital adoption, sales campaigns, and continuous process improvements to enhance Transaction Banking.
- Specialist knowledge in Transaction Banking, including Payments and Cash Management, and Trade Finance.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies, portfolio growth plans, and close deals.
- Strong skills in engaging with senior internal and client stakeholders, managing competing agendas and multiple stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in Transaction Banking across Operations, Product, or Implementation, with knowledge of Institutional customers within the ANZ network.
- Excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of local and foreign currency regulations, risk management, governance, and relevant in-country regulations.
- Interest in new trend technologies or 3rd party platforms in Cash Management and Trade Finance, and ability to anticipate future client needs through innovative thinking.
- Strong team player who can guide and mentor junior members.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Proficient in business Mandarin, Cantonese and English as this role will deal directly with customers native in these languages.
